Bhai, they need to give a lot of training and lessons about business ethics to their authorized dealers as well. I am going to a renowned authorized dealer of Toyota and my experience is really bad. Now considering going to my workshop wala.
I installed central locking and security system through the authorized dealer. Paid Rs. 5,500 and the back doors are creating problems since the very first day. They know a person will not come many times and will ultimately get a new one from someone else. Went to a guy for central locking and security system of my alto. The one installed in my corolla was there for Rs. 1,800. The guy installed steelmate for Rs. 3,800 in my alto and it is working flawlessly.
First check up - they did nothing except opening the bonnet and cleaning some parts with a cloth. While I was watching from away, technician came to me saying that first check up is complete. I showed him the check list and the guy smiled shamelessly and later completed the task.
Went for wheel alignment and oil change. As the alignment bay was occupied by a car whose engine was open, technician said, he can do the alignment where the car is parked and that he can do it with out equipments and just based on his experience. I refused. When they billed, it included wheel alignment. I banged the accountant and he said it can not be reversed as bills are issued on the basis of work orders. There is no provision in the software. I shouted at the manager and the software reversed bill for wheel alignment.
Yesterday, I went there again, brake light near back wind screen was not working. Electrician spent like 30 minutes and diagnosed that light is dead and the new one will cost Rs. 3,500 with out any warranty. I went to workshop wala, his electrician spent 5 minutes and fixed the problem, grip was loose..... zero payment.
