Gasgoo.com (Shanghai January 6th) - 780 Maseratis were sold in China last year, making the country the manufacturer's second largest market, Nanfang Daily reported today. The amount sold is nearly double from 2010. China is also the Italian luxury marque's largest Asian market.
The Quattroporte series was the manufacturer's best selling model line in the country, accounting for 57 percent of all Maseratis sold. The GranTurismo and convertible GranCabrio made up the remaining 43 percent of sales.
Maserati opened new dealers in Wuhan, Wenzhou, Amoy and Tianjin last year, expanding its sales network to cover 15 cities.

The 21st century is China's century..so it will become the largest market for everything including cars. Maserati is a nice brand but not really in my list of great car companies. It used to be very good in the 1950s and 1960s. Oh well, who cares what I think:D
Im surprised they didn't make the REPLICAs themselves...
