today i opened my throttle to check whether it is clean or not!one thing i noticed that through the mixer which is used to throug cng in throttle is more than half blocked coz of gas nozzle im attaching pics....
car is corolla xli......i think that nozzle should be at a corner so that air can flow easily as it was in my previous xli
any expert opinion?
if the nozzle is at the side of the mixer / venturi then i think theres the possibility that homogeneous air + cng mixture whould not reach all cylinders. However it does increase pressure differential at the throttle. and somewhat bad for the engine. solution is professionally designed mixer. maybe multiple holes will do well.
from where can i get that multiple hole venturi?
im waiting for more replies
Now this what i have done with the venturi but i have to increase gas flow let c what happen with cng average
i have to open the full gas flow to get desired pick .......so i put every thing back as it was
multiple hole venturies like the one in carby cultus and mehran are for double barrel carberators , here i see just one barrel , i think the one you using after mod is best suited
You are right but i have open gas flow to full the gas coming from kit was going directly into throttle that would result in poor gas average
you can install orig LR venturi which looks like the third one from right in the pic
also check the venturi in this photo
