You're right, I'm not going for Micro 4/3. GFX? No way I would rather go for a better lens for my DSLR
S100 has some very good advantages over S95 i.e. CMOS sensor as compared to CCD, DIGIC 5 processor, Focal Length of 24-120 as compared to 28-105mm and GPS.
What condition? portability or borrowing
I was also thinking the same, but battery is not a problem for me as I'm not a continuous shooter. I take my time and try to focus on quality rather then quality.
Do you have any idea which Nikon comes into competition with S100. I tried but couldn't find anything better then P310 but it only has an advantage of wonderful aperture 1.8, rest S100 beats it to death. It doesn't even have RAW support.
Well the price should be under Rs. 40,000/- even a penny above it makes me qualified to buy a lens for my DSLR then a compact camera.
Requirements are good aperture, RAW support and will appreciate a viewfinder if possible.
A DSLR user can't be satisfied with a compact camera, that is for sure.
Thanks for the suggestion bro, compact zooms don't come in my priorities as of now.
