Salam everyone. My name is Usaid and I live in Chicago. I'll be in Karachi (model colony to be specific) on May 31st for about a week. Just wanted to check out this web site to see what kind of cars you locals have. I haven't been to Pakistan in about 10 years but would love to see the local scene. I've had almost every car imaginable in the past 6 years (since i was 16) from FF to RWD, AWD, etc. Lately my interest has been in RWD Nissans. 180sx's to be specific. I'm really big into the chicago drifting scene and was wondering if any drifting goes on around karachi?

That chassis was really rusted out, so I parted it out and moved on. A few months later, I just had to get back into another one. Soo...
Bought this one:
And it came with this 2.0L SR20DET from a early 90's 180sx. Mostly stock. Front mount Intercooler kit with 3 inch exhaust from turbo back. Boost turned upto 12 psi from factory 8 psi.
Chasing down a MKIV Supra
That car also had a few problems. Ran great, but lots of stuff kept breaking. Wanted to start fresh, yet again...
Bought this. All stock, with a factory USDM 2.4L ka24de in it. Ran great, so why take it apart? WRONG.
Turned it into this in a few weeks.
180sx Replica front bumper with Group-A vent molded in, OEM 180sx Type X side skirts, oem 180sx type x rear valances. Put coilovers on it, lowered it to the ground and did 5-lug swap with MB Battle wheels. 18x9.5 +12 all around.
Car looked good but there was something missing... Tried on my friends Work CR Kai wheels (white finish) and it looked GREAT. White wheels on a white car, I was in heaven...
Interior also got a make-over. NRG Steering wheel with HUB and quick release. 5 panel wink mirror with Skyline GT-R seats.
Had a lot of fun with this car but decided that I needed some POWER.
SO out came the USDM 2.4L
And she's out!!
Cleaned up the engine bay a little.
Bought a 180sx type X wing. Car was looking real good at this point.
Parked the car for a few weeks...
Then came POWER
Basic 2.0L SR20DET Redtop. Rebuilt with all new gaskets, new rings, new bearings, etc.
Car and motor have been sitting in storage for a few months, and I REALLY missed driving :(. Had a drifting event coming up and wanted to drive badly so I bought another one.
Swapped parts from one car to the other.
Decided the car was sitting WAY too high so I thought I'd take care of that Kei office coilovers. STIFFEST coilovers on the market. If you want a race car, these are for you.
After:
Threw in a Buddy Club Wide bucket seat.
And then came the event I've been waiting for.
I was super excited, yet kind of nervous. I did pretty well though.

Event was lots of fun, but that's where I leave off. And I tend to get a little TOO excited so you guys probably have a to read/look at LOL.

And to drive the car into the ground until it breaks. Then rebuild and start all over :). Was a pleasure sharing with you guys. I'll be in Karachi on the 31st for a week then off to Rawalpindi I go. I would love to check out the local scene, if there is any. Let me know!!
