July will be peak season and Neelum Valley does not have many hotels like Murree, Naran or Swat. Since your group is big (24 people) so back-up plan is a MUST. You guys need camps/tents for all of you. Meals will be basic but available throughout the valley in towns. Hotels are usually cheap so if u r able to get enough rooms then cost will be low.
Trek to Chitta Katha may not be open in first week of July but still u can visit other places in Shounter Valley:
- upper Shounter Valley and views of Hari Parbat from there
- Shounter Lake
- Shounter pass trek and waterfall. Army is working on that trek since 2010 and maybe u guys can go ahead on jeeps to some distance now.
- Sarwali Peak and Sarwali glacier. Sarwali is the highest peak of AJK with 20K ft. It will be a full day return trek to the glacier from Domail.
Those who are planning to go ahead from Ratti Gali to Nuri Top and Dudipat should be expert trekkers with experience of trekking on snow. If it is their first trek then i would suggest not to attempt this. You will need proper trekking equipment and enough supplies to last 4,5 days on the trek. Please keep in mind that there will be no medical facilities so first aid kits should be carried.
Arang Kel is a beautiful place across Neelum river.
If time allows then visit upper Neelum village near Keran.
