My Vitz has this in-dash cd player installed.Although theres an AUX button, theres no external connector, my question is, would it be possible to somehow make the AUX feature work?
How can this be done, and from where?
B.u.m.p!!
it might have a connection at the back of the unit. try opening the dashboard and checking it out. You can then just get a 3.5mm lead male to male and us it as an aux cable. otherwise an aux cable would have to be soldered to the unit from inside...
i guess same ae reborn in dash player , had a aux button but no aux port
haha yess! Exactly the case, Was hoping to find someone who has already cracked this on their own Vitz though.. @yawar538, thanks for the info, Ill try that, hopefully i dont break anything
It must have a 3.5mm Cable Connector at the Back or Audio in Red & White Cable (Don't know exact term ) Like I had in an old SONY Pre(CDX-3310) & I Used a Cable (RCA to Stereo Pin) , & It has a Source Button pressinf it Twice, AUX comes & It Doesn't have a 3.5mm audio Jack at front.
So as per my knowledge AUX button means it must have a Connector at the Back!
no aux bro
O No! If your Vitz is G-Grade, Like this Pre Comes in G-Grade, then may be the 3.5mm Jack is Located near the Gear Stick. The Connector is having a AUX Written Flip Cover!
I've Saw it in my Neighbor's G Grade Vitz! The AUX Switch is Located near Gear Stick!
you have to make one. There is this thread on PW about making one urself...DIY. pretty simple...try that
yes just be carefull. be calm when you do that...it will take time to come off
