on a serious note, nice idea. could work on a commercial basis, if anyone could help out the young man with finance.
mutlub mobile chori ho jaey tu yeh baat ki bi tension k choor ghur na phuche huey ho ,lol
nice idea and an easy one also(being an electronic engineer i can say that)
i have made this circuit when i was in class 9. all u need is a cheap nokia mobile and my circuit. using it since 6 years now. even has function of fixed numbers from which door can be opened.
if anyone wants can purchase from me
There are a number of ways this could be implemented;
Expensive and least fun way, just buy a GSM relay and hookup with lock at home, there are multiple replays therefore you could do more than one function. look up this link Wholesale Gsm Relay - Buy Cheap Gsm Relay from Chinese Wholesalers | DHgate
Simplest method is to hookup a cheap phone which supports custom ringtones for each contact. a. Set a silent ringtone on both SMS and call. b. Set a beep ringtone for the authenticated number, ones who can access to open the door. c. As a result, phone will only beep when you call, any wrong number won’t be able to open the door even if they know the phone number of your lock. d. Now take out the speaker of the cell phone and connect a relay which could operate the door lock. You would need a transistor in-between to supply the required current to relay.e. That’s it; your door lock would now be operatable through authenticated phone numbers. No charges since you won’t be making any calls, just ‘missed calls’.
Use DTMF to read multiple commands from a mobile phonea. Connect your phone speaker, the one you use to hear conversation to a DTMF decoder; it’s a cheap IC readily available. b. Set your phone to auto-answer.c. When you’d call you can punch in code from your phone, e.g. 9 or #d. Corresponding pin can then be attached to the relay as used in above setup.e. The advantage over last method is that now you could manage multiple actions, however at the expense of security, anyone who knows the number can call and press all the buttons one by one to unlock. Additionally you’ll have to spend one rupee to initiate actuation. f. To overcome this drawback, you could latch multiple DTMF codes E.g. 9#2* as an array to increase security to an acceptable level.
I think you should go ahead with method 2 if don’t know much electronics. It’s the simplest it could get.
