AOA guys
I need your help please. I am currently using a Mehran and as we all know it gets quite hot here in summers so I am now looking to extend my budget to 500 000 rs and buy a car which could work good on AC and CNG...
As the title says I want to use AC comfortably with running the car on CNG. However petrol could be used to drive he car in the afternoon high temperatures...
The first set of options are Charade, Mehran, Margalla and Khyber.
These cars are old and they get problems. My budget allows me to overhaul the engine and install a new air conditioning system but this setup is still prone to problems.
The next set of options are Coure, Cultus and Alto.
These cars have AC and can be run with CNG. However I have heard from people that Cultus's AC does not work good and keeps on creating problems. I have no idea about coure but I think it comes with factory fitted CNG and auto transmission too (these are 2 huge plus points).
The third set of options are JDM cars like Toyota Duet, Mitsubishi Mini Pajero and Suzuki Alto 660cc...
These cars have good luxury options like power steering and automatic transmission. I have heard that these cars are reconditioned in Japan so we can expect good performance. Suzuki Alto JDM which has 2 doors has almost same shape as the alto we have so parts wouldn't be an issue. The only concern left would be CNG. I have read of pakwheels.com that the engine is only 600cc so with CNG it would not provide enough power and all but mostly I am the only person driving the car from university to home and vice versa.
Guys please share your experiences. What car would you suggest and why?
