I am strongly against standing in lines for CNG. we have cars to facilitate us, not to bear a mental and physical stress by standing in lines. If only there are 1-2 cars on the station only then it is reasonable to get CNG filled.
But I also dont understand why people bash and degrade other people who use cng in their car. And a person who has not installed CNG and drives on petrol takes pride in it. CNG is an alternative cheap fuel which costs almost half. Why not save half of your fuel costs using CNG rather than hypermiling and driving like a snail on petrol ? If CNG is available, then why not use it ? And if you have CNG kit installed, it doesn't mean that a person cannot/should not drive on petrol at all.
There is absolutely no shame in having CNG in your civic. Even honda gives CNG civics in some countries.
BUT waiting in long lines while possesing a good car when you can afford petrol is definitaly a matter of shame.
