GPA/degree is important for first job, agreed, but skill set, enthusiasm, commitment, integrity go a long long way. Culture of the university matters alot, does it expose you to reality or is it just GPA making video game ?
All the people back in my university who loved doing what they did are at good places, and happier. The ones with better GPAs are just ok, nothing more.
