well...just by driving an ABS car and braking a few times doesnt mean you know how good or bad the ABS system works in that car.....if your tires are shot up....the ABS wont do sh*t...as an example
same goes for bad or worn pads, rotors, low level feed of brake fluid.....
and like any other mechanical system, ABS has its limits...dont expect to halt in a few feet if ur doing 100KMs and then barking hard to stop...the ABS should be able to shorten ur braking distance by avoiding skidding....
when i drive in rain....i notice that i usually skid for atleast a couple of feet after the ABS kicks in....when im usually doing 80Kms on a city street.
