Just needed experts comments on above issue. Actually last year have filled my corolla Power steering oil with Toyota Automatic Transmission Fluid type T-IV as recommended by the company. However over the period, it has slightly reduced oil over, so I was just wondering can I top up with STP power steering fluid or does it have to be Toyota Automatic Transmission Fluid type T-IV. Will mixing cause any problem ???
Mixing is not recommended. Better top up with the same fluid or change the whole.
Brother it is the feature of power steering system that whenever you fill the bottle with too much ATF, the system flushes out the extra oil It is not a matter of concern
umm thnx. OKay then I would not top up until it reaches Minimum level..
Use same oil

It Should Be Type IV ATF........Dexron Types Are Different That T-IV....What's Mostly Available In ATF Are Dexron Type
So Better Get The Same T-Iv And Fill It .....!!
Needs More Care When Replacing Your Transmission Oil Than In Power steering Oil
