Since everybody talking about their stereos. I thought I might few lines about 86. I am currently using wharfedale delta 30.2 British hand made speakers as addition to dash mounted speakers. total ohm rated@ 6 ohms. sound is soft as one would expect from wharfedales. location is right behind front seats to avoid glass reflections. and so far its pretty much filling the listening area with 4 speakers firing approx 3 feet distance from ears. Player is Alpine and powered by Kenwood amp.
Active sub woofer was set as 50Hz. it stop working probably cause it was bouncing around in trunk due to track suspension. tomorrow I will investigate what happened to it
share pics too man
These speakers are rated at 8 ohms, and they are the book shelf speakers and not made for car audio but what ever floats your boat. Wharfedales site at idle and bradford was closed when the credit crunch came. It was just besides woolworth that time and i saw them throwing their stocks in merc vans. But they were good witheir cinema and PA speakers.
May be your drifting scared it to death j/k
delta 30.2 is soft cone , book shelve,, compared with mission 700 it has more bass and less mid. and hach needs lightweight speakers and no planks there is no trunk as such , this is not a family car . rear seat only for kids or someone short...
