Hi Pakwheelers,
My first post here.
I recently bought a Honda Pridor. Some two weeks ago I noticed the bike keep slipping when applying brakes and also a certain dis balance was felt on speed brakers.
Last week I actually fell badly (Knee still hurts) taking a turn. I thought the road was slippery and attributed it to the road. Although it has never happened to me before (Have been riding bike for 15 years now).
Today a strange thing happened. I was not even taking a turn and the speed was around 20 (strolling along close to the side lane after crossing Firdous Market signal). The bike slipped again - this time of a small branch of a plant on the road - I dont understand why this could happen. It slipped so suddenly it didnt even give me time to put legs down. I believe it was the rear tyre that slipped.
Checked with three different mechanics. All suggest there is no problem with the wheel. A honda authorize mechanic asked me to visit the claims guy and ask them to change the rear shocks as they might be causing the problem.
I do ride bikes but just for going to office:) and not much technical with this.
Still amazed at today's happening. How can a bike slip at such slow speed just because of a small branch. Note that I was not hurt at all - the speed was so slow - though I fell down but thankfully on the bike and not on the road.
Any help / explanation still welcome.
Any Lawyers can help me sue Honda - you are also welcome
