Great car and an absolute treat to drive.
Kept it for about 3 years and sold it with about 200k plus on its original sealed engine. It has one of the best suspensions in budget cars and is absolutely low cost unlike 6th gen civic.
It is very powerful for 1.3 and should return a good mileage. Power steering pump and AC compressor / condenser are replaceable with civic and city parts. Never had any problems with mechanical parts... could never find few cosmetic parts like fog lights and door moldings.
Get one with a decent engine and it will last forever. my advise is to look for a sound engine and after buying instantly replace timing belt/tensioner and water pump along with hoses andd other rusty steel bits if itsnot used with proper coolant. The only thing that kills its stock engine is over heating. Thailand made rad costs about 5k for this model. If its rusty, throw in a new one...add good quality honda or caltex coolant and enjoy... do check old pcv for clogging...
this is all just routine maintenance. i sold mine because it was manual. replaced it with vario is i hate from the depth of my heart as it has absolutely no comparison with the power and comfort of exis.
