Dear all,
AoA. I've recently changed my Gli's battery, and my Pioneer Head Unit's settings were all reset. I have changed them all back as per my preferences, but one thing keeps annoying me is that previously, my HU only allowed me to turn loudness on to "Low" setting. Mid and High didn't even appear as options. Now, I had that Low setting set up with the EQ to give me the desired sound. NOW, however, after the battery install reset, the Loudness settings available are Low, Mid and High. I've no idea how this happened. I don't even know why only "Low" was available to me previously. My SLA is set at 4 (for USB), Low pass and high pass for woofer and the 4 speakers are set up according to my taste, Sound Retriever is set to off.
My set up (if that makes any difference) is as follows: Sony component speakers up front, and Pioneer coaxials at the rear, running off a Pioneer GM-A4604 amp, Sony Xplod woofer running off a Pioneer GM-8601 mono amp.
If any guru can guide me as to why the new settings have become available, please do so. I am pretty annoyed because I cannot get the head unit to sound like it did before.
Thanking you in advance, (Madhouse Bhai, care to chime in? And all other gurus)
Nihilist
