i agree with Storm and other members...but...the fact is that the Suzuki market share has been jumped from 35% last year to 51% during this fiscal year...its 17% increase if anybody looked at their P&L statment by producing 110K vehciles, whereas, Toyota, share has been droped from 28% to 21%. likewise Honda market share also dropped.
So SUZUKI owns 51% of total locally manufactrued vehciles in Pakistan.
the question here is if 'we' are trying to prove ourselves as 'jacka**' than why Suzuki bothers to change the model when their product is selling like a hot cake, there is no reason to blame them.
there are, but in practical no 'consumer protection society' existance in Pakistan because poor consumer has no value and vis-à-vis consumer has successfully registered their 'worthlessness' while by buying Mehran and similar commodities again and again and again...
i put a question to my "pakwheels' fellows...how many of us have ever tried to influence your loved ones decision to 'SAY NO TO SUZUKI MEHRAN' ???
sorry fellows this reply has gone very lengthy but i cant resist in saying that not thousands but hundred's of lives can be saved if Suzuki followed the safty standards. we saw different threads on this site that Totyota, honda, ford recalled thousands of their 1996, 1985 bla bla bla models for a known reason that might lead to a serious accident causing a threat to human life.
i wish to see this culture enforced in my loving country during in years to come...
