AOA,
I have some surplus zic coolant, about 4 litres. My brother had intended to pour it in his toyota corolla 2012 but the car is sold before the coolant could be poured. I have a khyber 2000 which had the last radiator service in 2006 because the car had no heating issues or water reduction. its radiator has been on water for quite some time. Even the radiator fan is auto. So i intend to pour the coolant in it. However, the radiator and the reserve bottle are rusted, not badly though. the water is not that rusty too, but I can see the presence of rust in both the radiator and the reserve bottle. I would like to know whether i should get the radiator and reserve bottle serviced before pouring in the coolant or just drain the water and pour in the coolant???? And currently i am using the SNA SILVER WALA radiator cap, is it okay or should i replace it too???? Please reply asap
