Expect the following:
Knocking issues in many cars here could be lazy o2's or simple requirement of fuel to be at least 40-50% hi octane in my case
ABS sensor issues is you get some suspension work done, replacement will come from shershah easily or aliexpress if you want
Normal diagnostics do not work, MUT capable systems are scarce in market only some mechanics have such capable diagnostics software
Fuel economy is not amazing, very nominal in fact on the high side expect 10's or lower
Get 4WD shaft disconnected when you buy it if you get the 4wd version'
Only get tires and rims installed as per spec on driving side sticker
If it's JDM, on timing belt cover you might see a mileage amount written with a pen that's the real mileage it had when coming from japan and must have done more regardless of the meter (mine is surely around 160k plus, no oil drinking issues, no smoke etc.)
If the car has a yellow light when you buy it, please have it scanned before investing
If it's CVT know that ZIC make a proper CVT oil for this transmission use that only, to check CVT do see if there is no slipping or jerking at feather acceleration around 40 km/h mark
Do inspect seat slider for rust, it can help you determine if this was a tsunami car.
I don't know what car you are moving from, I have had my fair share of hicups with the car because I bought a 2006 JDM version but if I buy my next car it will be this same car only a later model considering it is still being manufactured.
