KARACHI: The Third International Conference and CNG Conex Exhibition 2006 will be held between Sep 19 and Sep 20 in Karachi. The conference aims at promoting CNG as an alternative and environment-friendly fuel.
Foreign representatives of the CNG Trade from Italy, New Zealand, Britain, China, Malaysia, Korea, India and Canada will attend the conference and exhibition.
The event will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Petroleum Mir Naseer Mengal. The federal minister for petroleum is expected to be the chief guest at the concluding session of the conference, according to an announcement made by the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) on Thursday.
The conference is being jointly organised by the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH), CNG Station Owners Association of Pakistan (CSOAP) and the CNG Dealers Association of Pakistan. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources and Ministry of Environment, City District Government, Karachi, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry are supporting the event.
