AOA Fellows,
I have been reading an article on PW Blog ( Buy > Repair > Sell: Salvage Car Businesses Should Be Regulated - PakWheels Blog ) where it mentioned:-
"You can easily make up 20-50K on a single salvage car which the "shepherd?" bought out of insurance or bank auction and then fixed the pillars, got it bake painted and is now selling as total genuine. And why not, people shouldn't make such a fuss about a good new paint and there's just no way to tell if the car you're looking at was repaired or not. You just can't, you have to trust the shepherd."
As highlighted above, does it means if the Bake paint is done then no one can judge if the car is repainted or not? Inshort after Bake Paint does it make car color "genuine" again? If this is True when why people go for Showering car and reducing market value, why don't they get effected panel Bank Painted?
Lets assume it might be tricky to match Metallic colors, but for plain colors or white color it would be ideal solution.
Your thoughts please?
