Cat Convertor cleaning + O2 sensor cleaning..--> I thing Cat convertor or O2 sensor is the real culprit. Both were working fine before dismantling. He cleaned the Cat convertor with acid. He himself told me that O2 sensor is faulty. I think he did something to O2 sensor during dismantling. There was no Engine check light but after cleaning Engine light was ON. Instead of diagnosing the Engine check light he just reset by removing battery terminal.
my car performance is very bad now. Engine speed(RPM) is too high, Fuel economy is just 14Km\L which was 20 Km\L on long routes previously.
Mechanic just removed the –ve battery terminal for ECU reset (hardly 15 seconds). Now I want to Completely Reset ECU before I took it to some other mechanic.
