I believe you are gravely mistaken here,
classification of cars have a standard, usually pertaining to weight, displacement, size etc which are standardised globally (thats how your customs deal with imports). If your thought were true then a fake rolex should be equal to a real rolex because "GDP problem"
or a pyrex dish platter would be equal to a royal copenhagen item. The reason for standards is for measurement, e.g. you would not measure the worth of a gold biscuit with a marie biscuit because your GDP is bad.
Pakistani market is like a well, tiny and microscopic and following trend of oversimplification, you see terms like reborn, 2d, nayee corolla, puranee corolla, CL9, CL7 etc etc being used as everyday words in the auto trade.
In the same context - corolla/civic/lancer jumped to "luxury" status in the 'used car salesman dictionary" with the massive dumping of the kei cars - while infact there is absolutely no change to the classification of corolla/civic/lancer on a global scale.
