Hey guys,As the thread title suggests. I am really confused between the two. Either i buy a 2013 Civic Manual or prius 2011?Somebody told me that civics are going to be out of the market as hybrids are the future. So they wont have resale as such. But I like the civic more because who knows what the imported car have been through. My budge is around 1.8 Million. Please share your views on this as i am not really pro in this. Could really use some help here.
Prius

Prius has more resale than manual Civic.
Thank you for replying guysIs there someone in lahore where one can find genuine prius(not absued- not refurbished) fair deal?Or its on me to fish out the right piece?Unregistered or registered? After 2,3 years, 2011 prius will have more resale value than manual civic?

Very poor resale of Civic, 8th and 9th gen while Prius is slightly better on resale side. Prius wins in the Driving, comfort, economy etc
I have both. And I would say get Prius. Prius is superior in quality, economy, power, features and handling.

Thank you again guys for sharing your views.I understand that prius is superior than civic in every way.But considering our local market, importers are selling totaled/repaired cars, labeling them "total genuine". And asking rediculous money for shitty cars. So i am really concerned about that.Above mentioned jdm cars guy seems pretty legitimate.I'll give him a call.Btw going on dry port and getting a unregistered car is a good idea?Any other place or way through which i can get a genuine car/deal?Your help is much appreciated
Check MyCar.pk @umarmuslim
Prius is a better option then manual civic and it has better resale market

The budget you have and the model you're looking for will only be available in the market with showrooms. These guys Mycar.pk and sharabi they only deal with fresh imports, so they'll probably be of little to no help. You'll need to find one by going out roaming around seeing all the showrooms and used car ads on different websites. Short list a few cars and then once you've narrowed down to 1 or 2, get their auction sheets from umar bhai (@umarmuslim ). To see what their actual condition was at the time of import. Just make sure you only purchase a prius if it's under 80/90k km. Don't buy a hybrid with ridiculously high mileage 150k+ no matter what the seller claims. A low mileage well kept civic will be better than a high mileage abused prius.
