Try this procedure to remove spanner icon and press the "A" button beneath the mirror adjuster on right side of dashboard to turn auto stop and go on.
if not please check if battery charging (white) sign is appearing on speedometer if not do let me know again
The spanner icon reminds you for getting your car serviced. the number along with the spanner icon in the meter is generally the number of 100km you can go before next service, ranges from 25 to 1, means 2500km to 100km, like if its 16, you should get it serviced after (16x100)km, if its 2 then after 200km.
if it gets blinking, then its better to have ek serviced soon.
If you want to remove the spanner icon from bugging you, (or removing it after you have had the car serviced (tuned)), here is the procedure:
1. park the car
2. pull out the key
3. turn headlights on
3. press the knob on the meter,
a. first click gets you the odometer reading
b. second click gets you the trip a meter reading
c. third click gets you the trip b meter reading
d. fourth click gets you the luminosity value
e. fifth click gets you the spanner and its #
f. press long on the knob for sixth click until the spanner icon starts blinking.
g. click the knob once again, word 'clear' will appear on the meter
h. click the knob to clear the reading, back to 25, or incase of some vehicles it is 16.
i. insert the key and once start the car.
j. turn off the car normally, turn off the headlights.
there you have it cleared.
