KARACHI: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies should reduce the LPG prices at uniform rate across the country for the convenience of consumers and distributors.
This was demanded by the LPG Distributors Welfare Association (LDWA) on Thursday, and it further implied that that the conflict of interests between various marketing companies has been creating uncertainty in the market.
Welcoming the decision of marketing companies to reduce the 11.8 kgs cylinder by Rs 15 to Rs 71, LDWA Chairman Hadi Khan demanded that the marketing companies should fix a uniform rate of LPG across the country by setting aside their personal interest in the larger interest of consumers, and to provide a level playing field to distributors and other stakeholders of this sector.
