Although human life and security are imperative to any society, it really depends on how the Govt of a certain country views safety standards and in what priority.
Funny as it may seem, out here in the West (esp US/Canada ), you will see cars equipped with "Daylight Running lamps"or DRLs which in simpler words are lights within headlights that are automatically turned on in the day.
Why? U make ask......well..A study reveals that such DRLs increase the attention level of the driver coming from the front (say...on the highway etc).
Now these DRLs are standard on all cars in the US/Canada.(as per Govt regulation)
I say its funny cause in pk some cars dont even have thier headlamps on even @ night and here the D R lights are on even in the day.
The reason why I gave this example was to illustrate how
Govt regulations play the part in making Car manufactuers comply with safety regulations.
So , it is really the Govt of Pakistan that can make these manufacters add safety features like the ones u mentioned into thier cars as standard...
