Has any body ever tried CNG refueling at home, using a compressor of AC/Freezer?It is possible There is a system called "Phill home refueling" (http://pwgconnections.com/phill.html) This feature is also available in Honda Civic GX NGV (http://automobiles.honda.com/civic%2Dgx/)I think this system has just got a compressor which fills your CNG tank.I guess our "mistries" will very soon make such systems from used compressors from Bilal Jang.
already discussed many times..repost !
its a repost. but still good.
i am intrested in this system. i talked to the person here in rwp. he was askin for 15k for one unit. but not selling one.
if some one is intrested he can post here.
be carefull with this system guys because u dont wanna hear blast sound in your own home
well its quiet safe, so no worries on this side, but man look at the price...
IS it really possible? if it is I want it immediately 15k is nothing for such a time safe
yaara its bilal ganj not bilal jang lol good post
i have discussed this matter with some guys and they say u cant simply compress the gas and fill it in tank as gas gets hot after compression ( e.g air conditioner ). it must be cooled before filling. many of you would have seen "cold gas" on some cng stations. hotter the gas, greater the risk of explosion.
yaar !!!can any one help me regarding a post which was posted here in which a person of pindi was mentioned who has actually aquired these gas filling from abroad......
i have tried using the search option but in vain....
pls use authorizied personnel to handle flammables. Dont try at home without proper certification.
its bilal ganj not bilal jang lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Dear All.............
NEVER EVER take chance to trying such kind of Bilal Gunj equipment for gas filling. You will really try to risk your and your family life. THIS IS NO KIDDING.
200% agreed with LOGAS
well if you so much love the idea of getting your tank refilled at home, get phill.....
logas is right. dont use local equipment for saving some bucks.it can be extremely dangerous. life is most precious than any other thing. if so interested in home filling then try to get proper foriegn home equipment which was for 70-80,000rs few months ago
nice yar
U cannot use a regular compressor on CNG..because its supposedly soo thin it will leak. CNG requires membrane type compressor which are very compact and soundless but expensive.
no. of pathan sellin this here

here is a good link

I don't think it will be risky, because we are giving it much time, about 6 hours. During this much time gas will be slowly filled and will not get hot enough for explosion. Its just my opinion, may be wrong. Some chemical engineers, pls advise!
