head lights were very dim almost ineffective. i replaced both of them (bought from Kabli Market) slightly better than before but not that much as it is suppose to be. i face problem while driving in rain OR when opposite traffic is maintaining high beam. kindly guide me to the best solution. should i replace the head lights again OR add more lights?
check the power of bulb increase them and check is there relay installed
dude i face the same problem but now ive istalled the projector lights which is better but still not perfect...guess we'l have to live like that till we put on HIDs
Ask some good electrician to put relays for oth headlights, as its a manufacturing problem in this civic that electrical wires give high resistance after some time.
putting relay will help in lowering the problem but as the lights of this car are of less brightness then new models so dont compare it with the new onse.
Yup: Relay intallation would make the things better and light would work on greater brightness.My Cultus had the same problem so got a relay installed.Kaafi improvement ho gai hai.
@ibnekhalid
Hi bro,install relays as i did too.Bytheway for how much did u get both headlights(kabli)?
Thanks
@mohzsinit was for 1600/- about 6 months back.
@car9bulb power is 55/60 and it can not be increased (due to socket size). wat to do now????????wat r HIDs? i have seen few civic 95 with lights inside bumpers. will that help?
@ronz2202wat r the projector lights? how much these cost?
The bumper lites are just useless,,,they eat up the battery...IF u want to combat those Corollas n Civics throwing high beams at you,,,gets HIDS(High Intensity DIffusion Lights)correct me if m wrong here,,,,
Tried all things, then bought new replacement headlights (Taiwanse), priced Rs 2900/- or so. Beams will improve
Ask your electricion to check and clean the beams and put a relay.
