D17..Well Piston Size Is All Same...But Stroke Where Comes Diff In D16 And D17.....!
D17 Stock Have Stroke Of 94.4mm whereas D16 have 90mm.....!
Using Same Pistons And Same Rods Of D16 On D17??? If Yes....There Will Be Difference In Length Of Rods.....As Block Of D17 Is Long.....! Well Make Sure 1st And Calculate All Before Doing It....! D17 Stroke 94.4mm on Its Head Makes 9.9 CR whereas After Change In Rods And Head...What Would Be CR's....Do U Have Any Idea? Or Doing It To Also Reduce CR's So It Can Take Up More Boost? This Really Is What You Need To Think Here.....!
About D15B....Its Really Such A Good Engine In D Series If You Got A Good Piece.... 9.6 CR......Still Good Enough To Be Boosted Around 8-9 Psi On Stock..If Internals Are Well Good....! As Nowdays...D15B Coming With Play In Main Bearings And Soundy Ones..So Have To Check That 1st
