Clutch plates in simple terms may be described as a connector between ur car and the engine
If the clutch plate is nearing its death then while driving u will feel someone has grabbed the car from behind and it will not accelerate faster as it was used to be
When u press the clutch the clutch plate opens up and no matter how much accelerator u press the car wont go ahead because the engine is disconnected. When u release the clutch the connection establishes again and the car moves on.
If this connection is not proper then u will feel like driving with half clutch pressed (race of ur car goes ahead of the acceleration)
Thats why u have to change it sooner or later
If u take ur car to Suzuki showroom they will easily rob u of around 7-8 K ( i m not sure, its a guess in the light of my other experiences with Suzuki)
and from other workshops it should be done around 4000
