Punk, I have used USPS, UPS and FedEx to send various electronics items to Pakistan. All of these carriers have successfully delivered the goods so far. Some of the items were dutiable, which the receiver paid. The shipping carrier will get the goods cleared and will be reimbursed by the receiver. All major shipping companies have clearing agents in Pakistan that take care of everything.
Make sure that you declare all items fully; full purchase price. Trying to save on custom duty by lowering the price is very dangerous. If the shipment is lost; you will be reimbursed for the declared price of the shipment, provided you had the insight to purchase insurance, which you must. Also, make sure that the electronics you are trying to import are not banned by DOD for import to Pakistan. You will be surprised to find out how long that list is these days. US Customs will confiscate any banned items.
The good news is that the process of shipping items from the US is extremely easy and very safe, as long as you follow the rules. You can use any shipper that handles shipments to Pakistan and I can assure you that your goods will be delivered.
Paying someone to bring your stuff to Pakistan is probably not the smartest idea; unless it is someone you know personally and trust with your items. What I know about Pakistan Customs is very limited; there are quotas and restrictions involved with private travelers. Why risk running into uncalled complications when easier and more reliable ways are available.
