Well, those who have never been to Lahore would find this cash n' carry story to be pretty weird in concept. It sells, well, everything in whole sale rates but only to Corporate customers. For those of u who didnt understand the last sentence, please visit the store to take part in the on going battle there The reason i wrote that dry sentence is that, honestly, families have been commuting from far flung sectors of islamabad to METRO without prior knowledge about the TYPE of business METRO conducts and all they get is a security guard eventually pushing their faces out of the gates. U NEED TO SHOW THEM UR COMPANY's NTN IN ORDER TO GET HOLD OF AN ENTRANCE CARD (Tip: if u dont own a company, gather someone who does, make him get his entrance card and then u can surely enter with him by saying that u are his family member. Tip#2: when ur friend gets his card, he'll be asked to also get cards made for HIS family members so, a card can be issued on ur name as they dont ask for proof of kinship). When u enter the store, u have two options...either dont buy anything or shop for 2000+ ruppees!!! so this can surely be a chance for u to buy month long groceries in a single go. Now, u must be wondering why i'm whining on such a petty matter...to know the answer, just visit METRO once.....people have been fighting to get in!
The funniest thing u'll find at METRO is...the bread fight..hes u heard that right, the bread fight! its a 1kg bread that goes out for only 25rs PLUS not to mention the insanely priced 7000rs/kg raspberries! Happy shopping!
BTW: i'd like to invite lahori pakwheelers to educate isloo guys regarding METRO policies
