guys i have to go to multan via faislabad on Motorway ..tell me how much far z fsd from isb ? i think its 250 kms from islamabad ....is cng availabe on motorway (on behra cng pressure z much less) or i have to get off ,before that i usually fill up from Balakasar interchange (cng station z near to interchange) then i fill from kot momin and easily reach to fsd.one more thing i have cuore with 50 kg cyl.
The distance between two cities is 330 km motorway. And for CNG filling, first fill up ur cylinder from Chakri and then from Bhera.
P.S. The gas available may not be of good quality and pressure.
it will be better if u fill ur cylinder from good station in rawalpindi initially.
the route u mentioned is also ok.
aray shazi bhai cycle par chaley jao CNG ki zaroorat he nahi paray gi
Distance is around 300 kms depending . Cng filling from Balkasar and kot momin is the best way to save time and get max pressure on weekends.

A little off topic, but the route from Faisalabad to Multan is pretty bad for your car, you will need wheel alignment after the trip. Went there in November on a Cygnus land cruiser and can tell you only to take the longer way around Lahore on GT road. Rest is up to you.
I have mapped the route on openstreetmap.com so if you got N95 or a phone with builtin GPS or any other GPS device you can load the maps and know the directions at all times even some roads of Faisalabad will help you reach from M3 to roads leading to Multan. Or you can at least print them and keep with you. Best of luck for the trip.
I agree with @tazzix the GT from lahore to multan is better as compare to fsd to mlt.... any way u can find the CNG at Balakasar all u have to exit from interchange and u can also find CNG at pindi bhitia all u have to exit from interchange and then u have enough cng to go around in the fsd city or in lahore city....
I agree with tazzix.FSD to Multan isn't clean route, there r two options...go Sahiwal via FSD just 1hour journey (Single road) and then double good road till Multan...
other is via Gojra-Toba.Tak.Singh which is under construction these days...
@allthnx
@tazixxdear i have to go to Abdul Hakim which z on the way to kabirwala so have to go to this side...i used to go from there .my route z as follow isb-fsd then fsd to jhang nd then shoorkoot nd then Abdul Hakim.
@spectradear u people went to this route few days back on cholistan rally plz update me abt road condition btw fsd-jhang nd upto kabirwala and alo tell me approximate time to reach shoorkot from fsd via jhang nd abdul hakim z abt an hour drive from shoorkoot.
@deadalivedear how to go to abdul hakim via sahiwal nd how much z the distance from sahiwal to abdul hakim ?
P.S please reply me as soon as possible because i have to go on Friday.
@tazzixtell me how much z the distance of multan from lahore via gt road nd is cng available on that route ? rest i can also reach abdul hakim from that gt road road.
@shazi_00: we were travelling from Rahim Yar Khan to Islamabad, left GT Road at Kabirwala at noon and reached faisalabad at 3 PM. Stopped at Bhera for food, etc. and exited M2 motorway for Islamabad at 7 PM. So you have a vague idea of what time it will take you.
@shazi_00: from Lahore to Multan (chowk kumhara) it took us 4 hours and 2 minutes to be precise, but a professional driver was driving the thing, I would add an hour for safe driving.
@tazzixsorry to disturb u again nd again ..wht abt cng on that route? nd approximate mileage from lhr-multan.
no problem, I still have all the GPX files and telling you info from there
However, I belong to the anti-cng club, still I think there are too many CNG stations everywhere except the motorway.
Lahore to Multan is 350 km
if u have with u then mail me ? i can print it out ..if so then mail me at shazi.ahmed@gmail.comnd thnx alot for helping me.
@ ShaziDear Shahzad The route i suggested you is much better than travelling from Lahore GT Road infact the best route to multan. This is for sure that your car will not ask for any Wheel balancing or ne thing. You know how much i travelled on this route? so faisalabad is best route to multan. Road is much better than GT Road.
@shazi_00 check www.openstreetmap.com you'll find all three routes there, zoom in on Pakistan and print it out, street level Islamabad maps are there as well.
via Lahore is longer but u can keep good foot on Accelaerator.
