a very close friend of mine bought a 2005 vitz last month with above 40k kms. on the clock. we took it for routine maintenance soon after getting its delivery. maintenance parts are absolutely no issue at all. in fact many toyota authorized dealers are also carrying its inventory but obviously will be slightly more expensive. as far as body parts are concerned, majority parts are readily available, however, if in case something isn't readily available, any good, open market dealer will arrange it for you within a week. so parts overall are not an issue.
secondly, i dont think u'd be able to find a 3 year old car with under 10k kms on the clock, must be tempered. most cars are arond 30-40 k kms driven which is a reasonable figure for a 3 year driven car.
if you seek my advice on it, its highly recommended. superb car with full features, amazing fuel economy, drive and roomy interior. the only drawback i feel in it is its gound clearance, neechay bahut lagti hai. but then i guess its not a problem tht cant be rectified
we got it from a friend's showroom for Rs. 720k. its in superb, scratchless condition, silver, just like new. its without navigation system.
Go for it man!!!
