No.. u have 1 more option, go for a crx style enclosure..subs up port back or vice versa just make sure the ports r getting atleast 3 inches of space ahead of it.... in this case both the drivers will have equal amount of air to work with.. n please always use a tuned box!! n Remember its not the subs u hear, its the enclosure u hear..
what ur box is just a combination of mostly 2 types of enclosure.. 1 sub will see itself in a ported enclosure n the other is more likely to see itself in a bass reflex enclosure(woh bhi aeeb sa), n most prolly u'll endup with ur subs destroyed ..
Fix a wall inside and give even depth to both ,, add a small port on side about 2 inches at least and fix a plastic pipe about 6 inche deep ,, and stick a fiber sheet on back wall
no offence but enclosures arent made or tuned by just thinking of giving box a port.. u wouldnt know how that port will react to the box n the drivers itself.. n there are chances he could destroy the subs or loosen up his drivers suspension as it would in his already made box..
making a box needs many consideration.. every driver has diff needs n requirements n that is y their parametrs are released with them.. these parameters like for e.g Qts, Qms, Qes, Vas, Fs, Xmas,Bl. Zmax etc etc are there to let u know what the specified driver needs are .. n by the help of these u can make a proper enclosure ..
neways m off to work getting late or i would have defined it a lil better .. i hope this helps n goodluuck with ur setup
