Hi guys...
Has anyones CNG switch / level indicator ever blown up or something?
Mine got busted day before yesterday. I got it fixed for 450 rupees. The price for the original part was ranging from 2200-3500 in the market. There was also a fake part which costed 1200 but was not recommended by even the mechanics.
The electrcian told me that this doesnt normally happen in the small (non-efi) cars. I have a 2002 Honda City. According to him the emulator / advancer sent some feedback current into the switch which caused it to burn.
So just as a message for all you guys out there. Dont get your whole switch changed in such a case. It might be a minor problem. Also please share your experiences if something like this has happened to any of you.
