Sadly new US version Corolla is without the body side moldings. Chances are Indus Toyota will be without them too. To avoid door dings i spent $ 130 to get Original painted side moldings from the dealership.
This DIY is very simple and can be done on any car. Any questions?? Would answer them gladly
Things needed to do this simple DIY
1. Some Brain (just in case)
2. Body Side moldings (Parts)
3. Alcohol swab (for cleaning)
4. Painters tape (so It won't hurt the car paint)
5. Pen (marking over the tape)
Body Side Moldings
Alcohol swabs. Contact surface needs to be cleaned to get rid of any dirt etc.
Apply Painters tape vertically starting from bottom on both door. 12.71 inches for front and 12.75 inches for back door. These measurement are from bottom of the door. Mark these points with straight lines.
Now top of those lines paste another piece of tape horizontally. It should look like H.
Now care fully tear the parts of the tape under the lines.
Now carefully align the moldings below the tape and push them with gentle pressure.
