@kizzi... well the reason i assume that the clutch is gone is that the car makes more noise and runs less... and also the clutch is like it is not opening to its full extent...
also there is a method of checking the clutch I've read on internet... that is apply the hand break, put the car in fourth gear and take your foot off the clutch slowly while increasing the rpm... if you are able to take your foot off the clutch fully while the engine does not stall... it means your clutch is history... time to change the clutch...
one thing i am not sure of... that weather it would work the same on cng as on petrol or not... i tried it on cng and was not able to stall the engine... did'nt tried that on petrol though...
@razooo... i don't get it... i thought the mechanic would take care of all those things...
@levin... you are right... mileage is not the factor of clutch life... mine gave way after a good 100000 km...
now does anyone knows about the price of FCC brand clutch and pressure plates...
