Hello Pakwheelers,
I am facing some issues with my Mitsubishi Lancer A/T 2004 for quiet sometime now and am hoping if someone can guide me towards resolution as i v already got done pretty much everything that these mechianics normally do and wasted quiet a fortune.
Firstly i feel my car is underpowered even in petrol (but i remember it wasn't like this earlier,it really used to fly in petrol). Now it wont pick up till the speed reaches 30+ (no matter how much i push on accelerator ) and same is the behavior in CNG,its literally dead and once reaches 30 suddenly starts picking up normally..Also it continues to vibrate and shake when in the Neutral mode.
Secondly, its keeps back firing with a sound of pathakha which in return damages the air filter (cause holes in it)....i got it checked at a workshop, the mechanics work on the ail filter box,it runs fine for 4-5 days but a week later the same back firing starts again......i don't understand what is wrong with it and neither do these mechanics appear to as all they do is the typical stuff and nothing productive....so please if any lancer owner came across such an issue please let me know as this has left me too frustrated now as i v tried everything....i would really appreciate if someone can give me a reliable lancer mechanic who can fix its cng issues along this under powered problem, I'd be obliged....also can someone guide me were can i get its engine scanned (for any current, coils, throttle body or spark plugs current issues?)
waiting for some feedback.
