bro in Mitsubishi EK, there are front brake disks and rear brake shoe. In Lahore I bought brake disks @ 2500 and rear brake shoe @ 1200 and yes these were genuine Mitsubishi parts...

Dr. Usman sb, is there any solution to enhance the FM capability also? some years ago, the market tape-walas used to put a dabbi in multimedia system which increased the FM channels. ... i seen this case with a saada jp multimedia, like cassette player only, do you know that this can be done with NSCP-w62 series also ?
    Still learning.

    Try this
Buy a fm modulator and an aux cable
(one that fits in hands free port, and has same jack on both sides)
Now you can play your mobile media or radio player on your phone while your phone is connected to modulator through aux cable and then you can fully enjoy music on your useless JDM sterio

Exclamation CAUTION!!! Consider Changing your Timing Belt after 100K

    Dear All,

After 100,000 Km (don't be fooled with reversed meters!) you are advised to consider changing your car's Timing Belt (I'm not talking about the Serpentine Belt here!).

A broken Timing Belt, when engine is in-work mode, can cause VERY SERIOUS damage to internal engine parts and halts your call in the middle of nowhere! .... sorry for scary scene

    Mitsubishi Part Numbers:
    Timing Belt: 1145A018
    Timing Belt Tensioner: 1145A077

I have been enjoying ek-wagon drive for last three years. I think that the rear shocks absorbers or whatever they might be called are too stiff. Has anyone else experienced the same? How to rectify it?

i had similar problem and rear suspension was quite stiff, went to a mechanic in gawalmandi, he took out spring coils had them checked and said they are totally genuine and don't need replacement so he advised to put one spacer with those coils. voila..... car is smooth and i am satisfied

But I have driven Japanese alto. It's suspensions are not that stiff. Much better. Ek has this inherent issue, I guess.
