Default Mitsubishi Lancer 2005 Mechanical problem

I have Mitsubishi Lancer 2005. It was backfiring. I got the cng kit removed, changed coils with new genuine ones and got head gaskit changed and valces changed n head faced. Earlier, the car jerked on petrol whenever I lifted my foot off the accelerator. The same problem is there now. Whenever and however gently I lift off my foot from the accelerator in whatever gear , it gives a few jerks. Interestingly, when the car was on CnG , it didnt jerked on cng while it did so on petrol even then. I have spent a lot if money on the above mentioned works. The car is quite heavy on petrol too. I want a smooth ride on petrol . kindly advise what can be the fault ??

It's better if you go and visit a proper mechanic, who has experience of a Lancer.
You won't find many Lancer experts on the forum.

I had the same model for 5 years..but never faced any such problem. It was never converted to CNG.

IMO the main problem was installing CNG.

i think Lancer 2005 is equipped with an 4G-13 1300 cc multiport efi engine not sure but did you checked the fuel pump & filter. If car was on CNG before at times the fuel pump starts malfunctioning and fail to maintain constant liquid fuel pressure to injectors / injector rail. any drop in fuel pressure to Injectors cause the jerks. thats' my amature opinion,

wait till your thread is read by masters like Xulfiqar, rustam, ser_gtr these guys are regulars and always give correct tips for diagnostics & possible remedies

take the car to a 3S dealer in your city they car probably diagnose the car and they have technicians and machinery to do the job
Till now i haven't heard of any ustaad shagird mechanics actually fix up a Lancer they just screw it up and make the matter worse

take your car to the engine cotrol unit (ecu) or engine control monitoring or management (ecm) specialist, that's what I think will help you.

Wao from where did you actually learned it?

Please dont misguide people. It is not the solution to the problem. This car has already much going on.
