    Default Lancer Backfire on CNG

I am having lots of problem recently my my Mitsubishi Lancer! Causing backfires (patakha, miss) on CNG (and burning/making a hole in airfilter)

Went to many CNG guys, some did adjustments, one told me to change the coils (which I did.. situation improved for a while but problem is back), 1 changed the plugs (normal plugs)...

    On petrol, its totally fine..

I read somewhere to use Iridium plugs! Will that solve the problem? Anything else?? If yes, where and cost?

    Thanks in Advance

plugs won't do it, kabli coils don't last, you need new ones.

The misfire on cng is mostly due to a mixture plus the cng tuners partially block the intake as well which adds to the problem

It could be because of wrongly wired advancer or incorrect installation of venturi.

if you did that much exercise - why not do it properly and apply some dielectric silicone grease to the coil tower when you push it over the spark plug.

This setup also requires that your spark plug gaps are perfectly set, if one is larger the coil might mess up timing, running on CNG with advancer also adds to the problem if the unit overadvances timing.
