    Default Diesel Engine for Lancer85

AOA Guys. Would u kindly advise which Company's Diesel Engine would be most suitable for my Lancer 85. Currently it is running on Mitsubishi Dielsel Engine which now needs to be overhauled. At this stage, I like to go for a Toyota Diesel Engine.

1N is a turbo right? if that is true than it'll have more than enough torque to move the body of the lancer.

1C might cause the car to be a little nose heavy but if it alread has a diesl conversion its possible that the springs have been uprated already.

2c woudl make the car into a tanga if the springs are not uprated further due to weight but it's be 100% reliable as it is the most converted engine in PK currently.

The 1N does have Turbo version available too.

I am lucky enough to be friends with one of the best diesel Mechanic Families in Pak and be able to spend time at their workshop. To many cases of 1N problems.

It breaks overhead cam very often comparatively. i know that but in some situations it is the only good option. 4D68 is also notorious and has very short life with Pakistani lubricants and conditions.

Which family are u talking about? Maybe i know them too.
