    Default Galant with 4G63 CNG Problem solved!

    hi there all,
    i just want to share one issue with auto transmissions running on cng
    i have a galant with 4G63 2000cc SOHC with a auto transmission. recently it was giving me issues running on cng. for example starting,then while taking off from idle it will take time to engage the gears and at first i thought my auto transmission had gone thats why i was having issues with my car.so i went to 3 cng so called mechanics and they said the car is fine according to them but i was having issues.so today early morning i decided to go in the hood myself and check whats wrong. i checked the car was running perfect on petrol and when i turned on cng same issue and then i took the tape blockage on the mouth of the air cleaner and installed my own custom made cloth filter for blocking the mouth of the aircleaner to create a rich mixture then i adjusted the idle from scratch and i set the rpm to 850 and then i took the car on a drive and the car was perfect and no idling problems and no starting prob and no gear problems at all and the car was running perfect on ac too and im happy to let u know that my galant on ac in city its giving me 120km/cylinder.........
    i have seen many cars on auto transmission creating issues on cng .....i hope my post will help people with cng issues on auto tranny......

    @Faisi001.........

    What u did is, quite right....I told recently a caller abt his Palatz's issue the same.

    Only do one more thing, check the size and type of gas mixer, if you get it adjust correctly, there will be no need to put that cloth too,,,,,, Gud Luck.

    @Faisi001.........

    I think I am the person of a wrong type and in wrong place.....LOLzzzzzz, Conversions and playing with alternate fuels is my business, but giving these small tips is not my means of earning, when I charge, I really charge good.

    Tell me the size, better is to take a picture, and post here, I will tell you to correct it.
