Default Lancer 1.6Glx CVT oil related query...

hi, i wanted to get the fore mentioned oil changed in my car and to my surprise, the mechanic at the body shop told me that they make 6L refill only; whereas the owners manual explicitly says the car has the CVT oil capacity of 8.1L. What should i do now? Should i pop a four-four magnum and **** it to the mech's head and have him recharge with 8.1L or something?? It seems to me as though they deliberately recharge with 'MINIMUM POSSIBLE' oil to create a false sense of "cheaper maintenance cost" of a CVT lancer..Please advise me.thanks

BTW: Dia queen III oil is almost 1400rs per litre...

if manual says 8.1 liter, than 8.1 liter it is.. go by the book, my 1.6 manual gv wasnt runnign well on gas, i took it to mitsubishi i-9 the mechanic there said, " sir tappet adjust honge" the car had only done 26k at that time, and the manual had nothing like this in maintenance schedule so early so i shooed him off, drined the cng kit of oil and she is fine till date...

hence i say go by the book

btw 8.1 liter is a lot of oil considering the 1.6 engine only takes 3.1 liter..., but how could i know, never kept an auto

well i dont go there anymore for service, just for sapre, like plugs, filters etc...

but everyone over there knows me, the rear wheel bearing started giving noise, got it replaced in warranty but in the process had lots of not much decent arguments with those guys and the warranty guy at dewan.. now i get around 5~10% discount on spares which bring them equivalent to pindi market
