    Default A4000+ Kms long motorcycle journey across Pakistan

    "FROM SILVER SANDS AND WARM BEACHES TO SNOW CAPED MOUNTAINS,HIGH PASSES AND GLACIERS"

    (A 4000+ kms
    ,
    29 days long journey across Pakistan on a Suzuki GS 150 motorcycle)

    Wealth i seek not;

    Love nor a friend to trust;

    All i seek is the heaven above and road below me.

    These are verses from a poem, but i am not sure if i have got them right, still if someone ever asked me what did i want from life? Most probably the above lines would be my answer. Nothing gives me more pleasure than hitting the road with a thought of long journey ahead, add the freedom of motorcycle riding to it and the picture completes, almost perfect. With the same spirit i left home on 1st of this month from Karachi. I will post the details alongwith the pictures day wise, from day 1 to day 28. For the details of my preparations for the trip see the short ride report i have already posted. For the first 2100 kms i rode solo, then was joined by other members of
    PAKISTAN BIKERS CLUB
    in Islamabad for rest of the trip.

    I was also on the tour during those dates. In fact, i saw a few ppl on bikes too. We were returning to Gilgit, when our jeep broke down near a restaurant at Jaglot. There we saw some bikers who were returning to pindi, and were stuck because of a road block possibly due to land slide. Those bikers could very well be you !!! One of them had this suzuki bike too.

    Bada jigar chahiye yar to travel that far on bike ... You ppl are unbelievably adventurous.

    What a wonderful trip you had! I truly admire your adventure spirit!

    I wish I could muster up such courage and go on a trip like that.

    Wish you best of luck with your future adventures.

    Just a question though, why did you keep a spare tire with you all the way? why not just a couple of tubes? and what did you use to inflate the tubes?

    I did carry two spare tubes but u never know what could happen on such a long trip on our roads. I had a foot pump to inflate tires.

    Amazing Adventure and wants me to start riding again I have done a few trips myself but none like this or for 29days.

    The best part of this thread is the pics with narration just makes feel as if you are right there with them.

    Great Write and adventure @Lovebikes hardly can wait for the next one

    Wow what an amazing trip... I was just feeling so bored had nothing to watch and so just opened PakWheels website for some entertainment and just saw your thread. It took me just 30 min. to view your 29 day trip. You must have really enjoyed the whole trip. Maybe some day I can also have the courage to do such a trip.
    Currently the most I have sit on the back of a bike is just 10-15 km. and that too on good roads of Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
    Did you wear Safety Helmet during the trip? and also did you fell from your bike during this trip?
