    @president

sir gee i am not happy at all with the shape that our club is molded into. With due respect, I do not support multi-disciplinary laws formed on each tour.

My humble request is, we should stick to the basic structure of our club (based on the strategy we formed two-three years back) of:

    Every member should have bike.

    Every member should be 18+.

Every member should have a driving liscence.

Tour will be arranged under one command.

Plan will be executed under senior command.

    No outsiders allowed.

In reference to the above, talking about the first point, every member should have a bike is a must for a bike club, at least. One interested in becoming a member of a biking club should have a bike or there is nothing left and he will be more like a player without gear.

Every member should be 18+, i think no need to explain that, one should have a bike, one must be 18+ to drive that by our law.

Every member should have a driving liscence, i think that is also a must, because if one is not having driving liscence, it is our fault to bing him with us in any case. As you might know, if in any case an accident happen, and one or two died of that accident, the one which do not have a driving liscence is supposed to be guilty here in pakistan. That is the legal aspect, but also, we get several checkposts during our tours especially moving along GT road, they ask for driving liscence, if you don't have one, there will be a mess.

Tour will be arranged under one command, I think being a team, we should follow one captain. There cannot be a team in which everyone is his own captain.

Plan will be executed under senior command, I think GTG is held for this, we should take opinions of everyone and then seniors should decide what is best under the circimstances, and then roll it in front of the members. If any member finds the decision of the seniors not in favour of him, he should speak up and until or unless everybody agrees, this process should continue.

No outsiders allowed, well considering the past few tours, we have had bad experience with outsiders or seasonal members. One who we don't know is a driver or not, will be creating a lot of mess surely for the seniors on the tour.

At the last, respected sir, i am not talking about dragging the people on the tour with one rope, but i am talking about the discipline. The touing has a lot of shapes. The touring groups have a lot of shapes. But the one which we try to enforce is like a team and every member of the team should perform under the guidance and as per the rules decided.

I think these points should remain the pillars rather than particularly deciding new rules or changing them for particular tours.

Regarding the issue of car usage on the trip, well i am against it, as I feel it would not be appropriate if someone is one a bike facing toughness and the other one is on a comfortable seat enjoying the scenary.

That's all i want to say.

I hope you understand what i am trying to say, though selection of words might not be right, but my feelings are truly kind and obedient towards you.

    Regards,

    Mustfeez.

Just wondering what gave you the impression that unlicensed drivers are invited?. if you were referring to my 17 yrs old son, he was to accompany me in the car.

If the members feel strongly about not allowing cars please count me out. I find driving a motorcycle on high traffic roads a bit stressful.

    Have a nice trip gentlemen

absolutely not sir. The point I made was just from the structure/basic rules of our club when it was founded.

I, in no way, am going to point out your son neither I did. It was not my intention, I heartedly say.

I was just provoked by the fact that cars and motorcyles combination is not good in my view. I just don't want to interrupt in any proceedings in view of this tour or anything. I just wanna say that I like the previous structure of being us all on motorcycles.

I will feel strongly guilty if you take my words personally. I will be obliged if it is taken as light as chips.

    Thanks for your kindest reply.

hope the issue is handled very well,

kindly try to post such things at PBC Topic

@ all Members & PakWheeler Brothers:

Keeping in mind the attractions of this trip and the cultural beauty of Pakistan Bikers Club, Pakistan many many people are willing to join us. But guys, you have to consider a few things:

    1-
    spanTimes New Roman";"

We have been able to make such a nice track record because of our Club’s Culture, which is based on SAFETY FIRST & PROMOTION OF SAFE RIDING,

    2-
    spanTimes New Roman";"

We do not implement anything just because we wish to do that but keeping in mind the safety, the road conditions, the ease of Riders (priority),

    3-
    spanTimes New Roman";"

We do not have same instructions for Car Drivers neither we think we can guide them bether than themselves,

So, for these reasons and some others that are not really in my mind currently we have to maintain a specific Rhythm in order to maintain history.

Moreover, in order to make many things clear so that everyone is not replied or explained one by one by pointing out his / her name I have to clearly mention some cultural thoughts of club so that the club members and others do not have to wait for decisions separately.

For the making many many things clear in front of you, I have tried to mention after discussion with seniors, so plz see below:

Although I won't be on this trip but I would suggest a partially different route.

Gujrat - Dinga - Rasul (barrage) - Jalalpur Sharif (Alexander Camp) - Pind Dadan Khan.

You can see the Rasul Barrage and Alexander Camp (optionally) on this route.

Alexander camp is in the area where Alexander the Great's Armies camped.

    Alexander Camp:

River Jhelum, Rasul Barrage (Photography is prohibited on the Barrage):

PBC Autumn Trip to Khewra and Soan Sakesar Valley -1002090

One of the Canals from the Barrage:

    @malikg115

The distance is approximately around 250 KM +-... divided as ...

    Lahore -] Gujrat=120 KM
Gujrat -] to Choa Saidan Shah is almost 130 KM approximately (not confirm but is almost 130)...

after Gujrat the road is reasonable but mostly is single lane... but i wasn't able to confirm it exactly due to lack of reliable resources

the route i was advised was lahore-]gujrat-]Dinga-]Pind dadan khan -]choa saidan shah...

Actually the proposed route of Asad01 is the shortest and the best route.
