Smile 40k KM on a sports Bike from USA to LAHORE SOLO Mission

Im going to be riding my motorcycle solo from Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco to Lahore, Pakistan.

Its as unplanned as it could ever be. Im hoping to last 4-5 months on the road. Not sure of the mileage ill going to be doing, probably around 25,000 miles (40,000 km). I have no idea where i will be staying for the nights, have some camping gear but no idea where the camp grounds are. Doing it on the most uncomfortable motorcycle i could find on this planet. A Sport Bike and not a BMW GS1200 haha.

Its an adventure. Adventures succeed and fail.

i will be up dating on PakWheels and u can follow me on on website.

Woke up in Pisa, had lunch in Florence and just had milk shake in Rome. It was an amazing day apart for a little hiccup. Everything was fine all day, the traffic in Flornce i thought was bad and then i entered Rome. Oh man, i cant explain it in words ill just have to put up a video.
Upon entering Rome City Center, i asked someone where the Colosseum is and the guy on a scooter asked me to follow him. After 25 minutes and breaking every possible road law we got to the Colosseum. I parked the bike got off, took some pictures, sat around for 15 minutes and then decided to look for a campground. I get on the bike, helmet on, key in the ignition, START!!! Bikes dead. Completely dead, not a light, not a sound. Its been 4 hours since, ive checked everything i can fuses, plugs, connections, kick-stand switch, fuel and even push started but nope. Hondas dead. Came to a Mcdonalds for some milkshake now going back to the bike.. Ill have a very comfortable bed tonight hahahaha..

All the best. May ur bike get well soon. Im getting a feeling it would be a very very small electrical fault in the end but to locate that will be a good test.

do you have a basic tool kit? - flip the seat and check voltage at the battery, You may also have a case of a failing ignition switch or wiring,, turn the handlebars all the way and try to push/pull the wiring. All your bikes circuits are passing through it - and check voltage at all fuses including the highest capacity main fuse, but easy way would be to ask someone for a independant bike mechanic which are found in hundreds all over the EU.

    Default StuntBums

Moin Khan was late...he said he would arrive at 7pm, but the clock ticked past 7:45 and Anthony and I feared the worst: the poor man was lost in Southern France, trying to find our house.

We had known Moin online for about a year, thanks to his interest in StuntBums and his own "stunt progress" videos. We had admired his grit and determination even before he decided to ride his F4i from California to Pakistan. Around 7:50pm we heard the undeniable rumble of an F4i zoom through the neighborhood - we ran out into the street trying to catch him.

At last he arrived and he pulled into our garden at the new, official StuntBums HQ. He was laughing as he pulled off his helmet and told us a story about asking for directions in our tiny village and having a man leave his work at a restaurant to take him to the police station to get a hand drawn map, then the man proceeded to run next to his bike all the way to deliver Moin to us. This was just one in a million crazy, unbelievable stories Moin has collected over the last few months on the road through America and most of Western Europe.

While Moin was born in America, he grew up in Pakistan, then returned to the US for university in California. After graduation, he decided to take the long way home on a motorcycle that will become his stuntbike in Pakistan. So how do you plan a 3/4 round the world trip? Well, if you're Moin Khan, you don't! On a recent college grad-budget he's slept in tents, on his motorcycle, in hostels and at hosts houses throughout American, Canada and Europe. While we are still getting set-up here at the new StuntBums Headquarters we were happy to offer him a hot shower, a few meals and hopefully a decent weekend with the Bums.

We took Moin to a stunt session in Montpellier with Jorian and the rest of the amazing riders there. Monday Moin departed for Rome, Italy without a map, GPS or worry about the time or day of the week. He's doing something most people would never even dream of, let alone actually do. One of the goals of his ride is to raise awareness and break down barriers between the American and Pakistani cultures.

If nothing less Anthony and I sure learned a ton about Pakistani culture and now we can't wait to go visit Moin once he gets settled in back in Pakistan. We were lucky enough to meet Moin through stunting, our common denominator that brought us together and gave us the chance to really get to know each other. Despite the fact our governments are pitted against each other on the world's stage, we are all just people who want to love, live and in our case - do wheelies!

The StuntBums/A Different Agenda lesson of the week is don't believe everything you see or read on the news! Good people exist all over this world, just ask Moin Khan who has been graciously received throughout the world on his journey.

Check out Moin's website and Facebook to stay up to date on his adventure!
